I am passionate about creativity and out of the box solutions, while believing that everything is possible and possibilities are beyond our imagination. I love to be associated with teams working on coordination, administration and in creative side of accelerated work style.

I have experience of over a decade in humanitarian aid relief. Even before my post graduation, I was involved in relief activities such as fund generation collection of blood donations for emergency I was supporting various social forums institutions of public welfare such as SAHARA for Life Trust Shaukat Khanum Memorial Hospital.

I have actively encouraged volunteerism at all levels. In October 2004, with the National Commission for Human Development (NCHD), I initiated a chain of nationwide seminars at university level titled Role of Volunteerism in Achievement of Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) to promote the spirit of volunteerism in the youth to pave way for the successful International Conference on Volunteerism the MDGs, organized by NCHD UNV. It was this successful conference that paved the way for UNV Pakistan.

While working for UNICEF, I was actively involved in supporting livelihoods of many families, victim of the 2010 floods.

Currently while being an International Civil Servant in United Nations Office (UNDP), I am volunteering my time resources as a philanthropist activist for the poor by provision of free monthly ration especially for families run by widows, in provision of reasonable bridal dowry, by provision of educational aid to deserving students, in provision of funeral expenses by hosting a daily free meal service for the past 3 years in Islamabad.

On a personal note, I am an active blood donor, a father of five children including two girls that I have proudly adopted and am educating.

In the past my spirit of activism has been appreciated at all levels H.E. President Pervaiz Musharaf, H.E. Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz, Advisor to the PM H.E. Mr. Naseem Ashraf, Advisor to the PM H.E. Ms. Nilopher Bakhtar, Executive Coordinator of the UNV Mr. Ad de Raad, UNDP CD Mr. Haoliang Xu, Veteran social worker former president of All Pakistan Women's Association Begum Tazeen Faridi especially by the people I whole heartedly work for.

I often act as the focal for the United Nations Core Group of Secretaries by leading to better coordination and in maintaining close and effective working relation with all partners including government, donors, diplomatic community, local and international NGOs and private sector partners. I host meetings every year to help facilitate introduction, interaction and speed up the process of coordination amongst donors and counterparts. Recently the Resident Representative of UNDP appreciated my outstanding performance in office coordination and donor liaison.
Earlier after the United Nations Country Team decision, I was selected from UNDP to be trained as a “One UN Trainer of Trainers for prevention of Sexual Harassment at workplace”. Since than I have successfully created awareness by one to one interactive sessions, and by pictorial displays at certain places to bring awareness on the subject.
Due to my extensive experience in document management, I act as the focal for UNDP document branding and have held sessions to help colleagues follow a unified branding scheme.

I served as a Protocol Officer for the conference \"International Conference On Volunteerism And Millennium Development Goals\" held in Islamabad, Pakistan. It was hosted by National Commission of Human Development Pakistan in collaboration of United Nations Development Programme Pakistan.
I was involved in coordination with the NCHD steering committee for the conference on day to day event details. I was delegated with the supervision and task delegation to all 25 protocol officers. I designated the tasks based on the steering committees decision, controlled and managed all the protocol officers and helped to facilitate the conference proceedings.
\"International Conference On Volunteerism And Millennium Development Goals\" was a big success and laid the foundation for United Nations Volunteers in Pakistan. Executive Coordinator of the United Nations Volunteers programme Mr. Ad de Raad highly appreciated my contributions towards the conference and in addition to the certification for the conference participation also presented his UNV coat pin to be as a gesture or appreciation.
In the end of the event H.E. Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz hosted a dinner for the conference participants in which he appreciated the voluntary efforts of my team to make this conference a success and he also advised all the newspapers to publish his picture with the group of my volunteers on front pages of their publications to promote the spirit of volunteerism nationwide.
